8.3.2026 – New Position Proposal: Senior HR Generalist (Benefits & Compliance Focus)
Justification:
As Georg Utz continues to grow, the complexity of employee benefits administration, leave management, compliance requirements, employee relations, and HR operations continues to increase. To effectively support employees and managers while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, Human Resources requires dedicated expertise in benefits and compliance administration.
Currently, these responsibilities are shared across multiple HR functions, limiting the team's ability to proactively manage compliance risks, optimize employee programs, and provide strategic support to the business. A Senior HR Generalist with a focus on Benefits & Compliance will serve as a key resource to employees and leaders while ensuring HR processes, policies, and benefit programs are administered effectively and consistently.
This role will provide critical support across all areas of Human Resources while taking primary responsibility for benefits administration, leave management, compliance activities, policy administration, and HR reporting. This position will strengthen operational effectiveness, improve employee experience, and allow HR leadership to focus on broader organizational and strategic initiatives.
